Helllllllllllllllllllllllllllo blogger world! Goodness it is hard to keep up with a blog while on vacation with limited internet and kids running every which direction! We took an unexpected 2 week vacation due to still waiting to close on our house. Good grief huh! Seems like we should have closed and be moved in by now. 2 more weeks! Meanwhile the kids and I are down by South Fork, Colorado and kayaking, biking, walking, and living it up. We've enjoyed putt putt, paddle boats, hiking, and kids are loving the arcade. The bad part... my husband can only be here on the weekends cause of work and it's a 3 1/2 hour drive for him. I am counting the days til he returns here! 3 more days and then it'll be the long weekend!
There's been tons of rain and I'm sick of it. I want to be sitting out by the campfire, but no, I'm inside writing a blog. I guess that's not that bad! hehe Today we drove up to Pagosa Springs and went to a few shops and ate a burger at the Malt Shoppe. I halved a burger with my mom and guess what? It made me sick. Crappy food. I've been making lots of green monsters and have run out of supplies so I'll be off to the store tomorrow. I hope I can find almond milk. If not, I'll just use some fat free milk.
I've also been kayaking down the south fork of the Rio Grande river.. talk about a workout!! I was sore for 2 days after my first day of it, but kept going! It's too much fun! I am gonna have to get someone to take a pic of me in my kayak.. maybe tomorrow! **RAIN GO AWAY**
I do have tons of pics to share, but the internet network here is blocking facebook and I can't get them to post yet. So when I get home, I will have many pictures to share.
I am hoping to post a lost for this week, we'll see. I'm doing really good with eating considering I am on vacation and I'm getting lots of calorie burn with all the activities. I am missing the gym though. Can't wait to get back to the gym and get a good butt kicking in kickboxing class!
